HTJ Centre's visit to Howard Johnson's yard with Inglis Drever and Tidal Bay

February 2008

The problem the yard has had with a serious number of horses breaking blood vessels and coughing in one week in the lead up to the Cheltenham Festival has been well documented. We were able to indentify the main cause of the problem, the straw bedding, and to assess how badly it was affecting each individual horse tested giving the trainer an invaluable insight and so a better chance to evaluate their prospects of a quick return to racing action as well as providing treatment for those worst affected.

It was a thrill for us that the yard quickly returned to form with both Tidal Bay and Inglis Drever memorable winners at the Cheltenham Festival.

Inglis Drever the first triple World Hurdle Winner powers to an historic victory.

Screening in Spain for Champion Trainer Ioannes Duke of Alburquerque

March 2008

There were also three individuals to treat with tailor made desensitising drops for their differing allergies, which should do the trick.
