Border Alliance is an ex flat racehorse who was retired at the end of last season.

Di Arbuthnot Executive Director of the ROR (Retraining of Racehorses) Charity says,

The picture above was taken when we were asked to go and see him at the new centre recently established for ex-racehorses at Sink Farm Ipswich by the ROR Charity .

His condition had deteriorated to such an extent despite trying various changes of diet and supplements that even the vets had very nearly lost all hope of recovery for him.

Our screenings showed him to be intolerant to a number of feeds,which he had received,as well as to be desperately low in his vitamins and minerals.

We prescribed a change of feed and the complementary feeding of Multiboost and Calciboost our vitamin and mineral supplements.

We are happy to hear from Di Arbuthnot that now only three months later he has made such a fantastic recovery and is looking really well.
